Episode 1 - The Land of Korin

In the Land of Korin, Captain Yellow finds another dragon ball in a volcano crater. Near a massive tower that reaches the sky, Bora and his son Upa are fishing. As Captain Yellow's men retrieve the dragon ball, the volcano erupts. Bora gets hold of the dragon ball. As Yellow and his men land, Bora demands they leave. When they see him carrying the dragon ball they attack him but Bora resists. Bora kills a grenadier who comes from behind him and beats down Yellow's men. Yellow kidnaps Upa to blackmail Bora. Goku arrives in time to defeat Yellow and save Upa (who is able to ride the Nimbus). The dragon ball Bora has is the very one Goku was looking for. Meanwhile, the guards of the RR base hardly recognize General Blue on his arrival. Commander Red has summoned the infamous Mercenary Tao.

Episode 2 - The Notorious Mercenary

General Blue enters the RR base and meets with Commander Red. Despite procuring the dragon radar, Red is displeased with Blue and offers him a second chance if he can defeat Mercenary Tao, which he fails and Mercenary Tao easily kills him. Meanwhile, Bora tells Goku the legend of the Korin Tower. After being briefed on his target, Tao travels on a flying pillar to Korin's Land. As Goku, Bora and Upa are enjoying themselves, Tao storms in and Bora fights him. Bora is killed by Tao, leaving Upa in grief and Goku in anger.

Episode 3 - Tao Attacks!

Goku fights Tao, taking a severe beating from Tao. A Kamehameha Wave has no effect on Tao, but it sears his outfit. Angered, Tao fires a lethal beam (Dodon Ray) on Goku. Tao takes the dragon balls and taunts Upa before making his leave. Tao heads to a town to get a new outfit, while Red tells him that he is one dragon ball short. Upa has buried his father and is about to bury Goku when an RR pilot lands. As the pilot tries to take the dragon ball Goku kept, Goku beats him and blasts his jet. Apparently Goku's grandfather's dragon ball blocked the Dodon Wave. Goku begins to climb the Korin Tower, while Tao waits for his outfit to be tailored to Red's frustration.

Episode 4 - Korin Tower

Goku eventually reaches the summit of Korin's tower. Goku is then met with Korin, who is not about to hand the sacred water to Goku. An assassin fails to kill Mercenary Tao as he heads to his usual luxurious hotel to take a boiling hot bath. Korin seems to be deceitful not letting Goku take the bottle of sacred water. After a long hard attempt trying to get the sacred water, Korin reveals that Master Roshi was the first to climb the tower and it took him three years to get the water.

Episode 5 - Sacred Water

Goku attempts to snatch the sacred water from Korin with his "After Image" technique which is no surprise to Korin. The next day Korin gives Goku a Sensu Bean to last Goku's appetite and energy for 10 days. Korin throws Goku's dragon ball out of the tower forcing Goku to run down and up the tower again. Goku attempts to take the sacred water while Korin sleeps, but thinks better of it. Goku tries long and hard for the next two days to get the sacred water. Mercenary Tao realises how he wasn't able to kill Goku. Goku attempts to read Korin by mimicking his every move. The very next day, Goku finally manages to get the sacred water. To his disappointment it doesn't strengthen him, but all that exercise did him good. Tao kills the tailor who made his outfit before leaving.

Episode 6 - The Return of Goku

Tao arrives and bullies Upa. Goku arrives to save him and rounds on Tao. After some small talk, Goku demonstrates his speed and strength on Tao. Tao also happens to know the legend of Korin's tower and the sacred water. Goku blocks most attacks from Tao to Upa's surprise. Meanwhile, Bulma is working on a new scout plane to assist Goku. Goku beats Tao a lot. Tao's Dodon Ray only singes Goku's hands. Tao resorts to wielding a sword on Goku, but Upa fetches Goku his power pole and Goku breaks Tao's sword. Tao kicks a stone, missing Upa and destroying the teepee. Tao decides to climb the tower to get the sacred water.

Episode 7 - The Last of Mercenary Tao

While Mercenary Tao tires himself climbing the tower, Goku enjoys his moments with Upa who is amazed at Goku's confidence. Meanwhile, Bulma's dragon radar is malfunctioning due to some radar jamming situation which is also affecting Commander Red. Tao reaches the tower summit and meets Korin. Arrogant Tao drinks the sacred water and Korin tricks him into thinking his strength is boosted. In addition, Korin gives Tao a dark cloud to ride. Korin then causes Tao to plummet to the ground. Tao beats Goku, but Goku was just taking blows to read his moves. Tao acts as if to surrender and throws a napalm grenade at Goku, but Goku kicks it back. The bomb explodes right in front of Tao, killing him. Meanwhile, Bulma has finished engineering her radar against the radar jammer, which also boosts Goku's. Goku is off to defeat the RR at their HQ.

Episode 8 - Confront the Red Ribbon Army

Commander Red receives word that Colonel Violet has tracked another dragon ball. Her divers successfully procure the ball. As they are attacked by a giant alligator and savages, Violet selfishly leaves her men to die, giving her the chance to escape with the ball. Violet hands the ball to Commander Red, receiving a pint-sized reward. Bulma has completed her spy camera to find Goku and launches it. As Goku makes his way to the RR HQ, Commander Red is convinced it is Mercenary Tao. Bulma's spy camera is destroyed when it hovers above the RR base. Bulma, Launch and Roshi realise Goku is making a direct attack on the RR base. Yamcha, Oolong and Puar receive the news and take off with the others to follow Goku

Episode 9 - A Real Bind

While Yamcha and the others are flying after Goku, they decide to find Krillin. They find Krillin swimming but he flees before he realises they are here to pick him up. Goku beats a scout out of the sky and his cover is blown. Goku gets past the defenses and penetrates the base perimeter. All at once, he has the entire army on top of him. Yamcha flies the plane into the RR sector barely escaping a heat seeker missile. Colonel Violet is grabbing every scrap of money she can get. Goku infiltrates Red's command building as Commander Red retreats to his office with General Black.

Episode 10 - The End of Commander Red

The warfare against Goku continues for the RR Army. Then, the soldiers flee in terror except for Colonel Violet who is heading for Red's treasure vault. Violet swipes all the money and valuables and makes her leave. Red gets frustrated and angry and leaves Black to face Goku as he retreats to his penthouse. As Goku beats Black, Red activates the ceiling to crush Goku. Having been betrayed and risking his life, Black kills Red. Goku emerges from the wreckage and Black tries to talk his way out, but Goku won't fall for his lies. As a last resort Black uses a mech robot machine to take out Goku. Meanwhile, Yamcha and Violet are both trying to evade each other. General Black beats Goku plenty and is preparing to fire a lethal weapon on him.

Episode 24 - Goku's Trap

As the exhausting battle between Goku and Junior continues, Goku avoids disaster by taking the battle within. Junior surprises all when he unveils a new threat!

Episode 25 - Goku Hangs On

The World Martial Arts Tournament begins to fall to pieces as Junior unveils a technique that not only threatens to destroy Goku, but his friends as well. Even the mighty Kami believes that there is no way for Goku to survive in this winner-take-all massacre!

Episode 26 - The Victor

The end of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament finds Goku struggling for survival as Junior gets the upper hand, poised to take the Title and his life. Kami devises a way to rescue the young hero, but his plan calls for the ultimate sacrifice!

Episode 27 - Dress in Flames

Eager to announce their wedding plans, Goku and Chi Chi return to her father's kingdom. The good news is short-lived when Ox King's castle goes up in flames! Goku embarks on a quest to find a sacred tool, which can save Ox King and his future with Chi Chi.

Episode 28 - The Fire-Eater

Goku and ChiChi's search for the Basho Fan leads them into the heart of a fiery volcano. Once inside, they must face a mighty creature that consumes flames: the Fire-Eater!

Episode 29 - Outrageous Octagon

Goku's search for the Basho fan leads him to a treacherous mountain that has a strange curse. ChiChi is faced with the biggest mess of her life when she meets a mysterious old woman, while the Ox King tries to flee the raging fires that threaten to destroy his castle!

Episode 30 - Mystery of the Dark World

After the Basho fan fails to put out the fire threatening the Ox King, Goku and ChiChi set out to find the Magical Furnace, believed to be the last hope for extinguishing the deadly blaze. But before they can complete their quest, Goku must solve the mystery of the Dark World.

Episode 31 - The End, The Beginning

Goku and Chi Chi must travel to Mt. Five Elements in a last ditch effort to save her father, the Ox King, from the deadly magical flames, which threaten to consume his kingdom. Before Goku can complete his quest, he must fan the flames of Fate and hope he doesn't get burned!

Episode 123 - Lost and Found

With Piccolo's reign of terror at an end, Goku has time to mend his wounds. As he heals he learns that there may be a way to revive his lost friends - a face to face meeting with the creator of the Dragonballs! The only problem is that the only way to get to the mysterious Kami is by using his Power Pole, and it's gone missing!

Episode 124 - Temple Above the Clouds

Goku finds his lost Power Pole and uses it to climb to Kami's temple in the sky. The only problem is that when he arrives he must face off against Kami's assistant Mr. Popo in a test of strength. Does Goku have what it takes to pass this test and earn a meeting with the mysterious Kami?

Episode 125 - Earth's Guardian Emerges

Goku cannot defeat Mr. Popo, and thus, cannot see Kami! Goku decides to be trained by Popo. Kami eventually does reveal himself, and Goku is shocked to see he looks just like Piccolo(the logic!)! Kami tells Goku of how he split his good self from his bad in order to take the throne of Kami-sama, but because of it, Piccolo was created. Kami tells Goku that he can't bring the dead back to life... but Shenron can. He will be able to bring Shenron back to life to restore everyone.

Episode 126 - Eternal Dragon Resurrected

After Goku mistakes Kami for the villainous Piccolo it is time for the young warrior to begin his grueling three year training for the next World Martial Arts Tournament. In exchange for Goku's promise Kami agrees to revive the Eternal Dragon!

Episode 127 - Quicker Than Lightning

Goku's first task under his new teacher is a death-defying mission to the top of Mount Rumble to fetch the legendary Sacred Crown. But the mystical artifact has a deadly secret! Goku will have to be quicker than lightning to accomplish this task alive!

Episode 128 - Secret of the Woods

Continuing his training, Goku follows Popo's instruction and enters the deep, dark woods. While searching for a worthy sparring partner, Goku stumbles across a surprising discovery hidden deep within the secluded labyrinth and finds help a most unexpected way!

Episode 129 - The Time Room

Goku journeys through time, where he meets a young Master Roshi! But Roshi has a problem of his own his arch rival, Shen! While the two rivals battle for the affections of the same girl, Goku attempts a new power with the help of Master Mutaito.

Episode 130 - Goku's Doll?

Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it!? Goku learns this lesson the hard way when he asks Popo for the ultimate sparring partner to aid in his training. What he gets is the battle of his life! Meanwhile, Yamcha and the others continue their long journey to reach Korin's Tower, in hopes of receiving training from the wise Master.

Episode 131 - Walking Their Own Ways

Preparing for the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku gets some important training tips from Mr. Popo. Meanwhile, Tien, Yamcha, Chaiotzu and Krillin make their way to Korin's Tower for some training of their own. Unfortunately they are sidetracked by a village celebrating a mysterious festival to their mountain spirit. Once the mountain erupts it's up to our heroes to put a lid on the active volcano!

Episode 132 - Hotter Than Lava

While Goku continues his training, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Krillin find themselves in a very hot situation! A remote village is threatened by an erupting volcano and it's up to the good guys to put a lid on it. The time has come to put their new training to the test!

Episode 133 - Changes

Warriors the world over are lining up to compete as the World Martial Arts Tournament prepares to get under way. Unfortunately, all of Master Roshi's pupils are missing, including Goku. With the entry-deadline approaching, the competitive future of our heroes looks bleak, as does Roshi's patience.

Episode 134 - Preliminary Peril

The World Martial Arts Tournament gets underway as Goku and the others compete in the exciting preliminary round. But the competition threatens to turn ugly when Goku gets a visit from an old adversary.

Episode 135 - Battle of Eight

The preliminary round continues as Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien battle one opponent after another in hopes of advancing to the semi-final round. Meanwhile, Master Roshi is confronted by an old rival.

Episode 136 - Tien Shinhan vs Mercenary Tao

The match between Tien Shinhan and Mercenary Tao begins. Shen (the Crane hermit) is in the audience cheering for his brother Tao. Tien seems to be a lot stronger than Tao and tries to escort him out of the ring until Tao takes off one of his cybernetic hands revealing a knife. The announcer tells Tao that he is disqualified for using a weapon but Tao dosen`t lisen because he wants to kill Tien for deciding to join the Turtle Hermit`s students. Tien breaks the knife. Tao takes off his other hand revealing a cannon for his super Dodon ray. Tao shoots the super Dodon ray at Tien. Tien survives the ray easily by being able to destroy it. Tien punches Tao in the stomach. Tien gives Tao to Shen. Shen and Tao leave the tournament saying that the Turtle Hermit and his students won`t die in peace. And Goku and Anomounous`s match is about to begin.

Episode 137 - Anonymous Proposal

Goku battles the unknown girl, who seems to be getting more and more angry at him. Eventually, she tells him why she's angry at him: Goku told her he'd marry her! After a funny scene in which Goku finally learns what getting married means, he tells her he doesn't even recall saying this to her. She then tells him that she'll tell him who she is, but only if he defeats her. With that said, Goku easily knocks her out of the ring. Defeated, the girl reveals that she's Chi Chi(which Oolong already figured out). Goku then realizes that he did promise to marry her, but he admits that he always thought that "married" was some sort of food. Chi Chi is sad, but then is overjoyed when Goku proposes to her right in the ring. She then kisses him(which makes Krillin angry). Soon, the next battle begins: Ma Junior(Piccolo) vs. Krillin. The two seem to be even, but Piccolo decides to show Krillin some of his true strength...

Episode 138 - The Mysterious Hero

With some difficulty, Junior defeats Krillin, even though it looked as though they were evenly matched. Then, Yamcha faces Hero, who is really Kami, using the human to defeat Piccolo Jr.. Does Yamcha have a chance?

Episode 139 - Rematch

Hero starts by acting like a crazy man, however, Yamcha scratches to stay in the ring as Hero reveals his true ability and identity. Goku and Tien Shinhan must fight one another in a friendly rematch to claim the last remaining spot for the semi-finals.

Episode 140 - Goku Gains Speed

As the battle between Tien Shinhan and Goku rages, Goku unloads a heavy burden, one that may shift the balance in the extraordinary showdown. All eyes turn to Tien as an embarrassing moment spurs him to make a dangerous choice.

Episode 141 - The Four Faces of Tien

Goku has always been able to handle himself in the ring, but when his fight with Tien Shinhan turns into a war against an army, he finds himself in serious jeopardy. Tien's new technique may spell the end for our hero!

Episode 142 - Kami vs Piccolo

Goku is eager to fight Junior, but Kami fears his inexperience will be his downfall. Hero takes on Junior in the last round of the semi-finals, where his shocking agenda is revealed.

Episode 143 - Battle for the Future

Goku faces the ultimate test as he confronts his greatest nemesis in the final round of tournament. This time his fight is for more than the title. The future of the free world is at stake!
