Mezga's and Maris neighbour are taken captive by the mafia in South America and ransom is needed for them. Maybe Pisti Hufnagel can pay, but someone needs to get to America to let him know. The glass-eyed police captain who is the the boss of the thugs sends Paula and Kriszta to Florida, but what will happen Geza and Aladar? And what about neighbour Maris?
