Kuo persuades Hsien-wu to retreat but Hsien-wu insists on obeying the Ching and uprooting the bandits. To get money, Fu-hai convinces Yun-tien's son Yin to recruit him as teacher. His trick being discovered, Fu-hai unintentionally kills Yin and joins the mountain fortress.
