For the repeat of the show, Philippe Etchebest teams up with Mallory Gabsi, the semi-finalist of season 11 of Top Chef. Together, they travel to Epoye, in the Marne region, where Jean-Jacques has taken over a restaurant. Despite his long experience in the restaurant business, he is accumulating debts, and his restaurant's attendance is down. Whether in the kitchen or in the dining room, Chef Etchebest has no difficulty in pointing out the shortcomings: a welcome in jogging suits, frozen products, latent tension between the father and his son.
