Terry Kilburn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Terry Kilburn (born 25 November 1926) is an English former child actor. He is sometimes credited as Terence Kilburn or Terrance Kilburn. Kilburn achieved fame portraying Tiny Tim in the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol and as four generations of the Colley family in Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1939). He was also featured in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939) with Basil Rathbone. In 1944, he worked in The Keys of the Kingdom, a film starring Gregory Peck, but his scenes were cut. He had a small part in his last film, 1962's Lolita. Kilburn also headed up Oakland University's Meadow Brook Theatre located in Rochester, Michigan. Meadow Brook Theatre is Michigan's only LORT theater. It presents classic plays, comedies and musicals. They are known for their annual production of Dicken's A Christmas Carol," adapted by Kiburn's partner Charles Nolte. Kilburn resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
